Good selection of cabinet food options and a well priced menu selection with generious portions. The tables and chairs are basic but cleverly disguised by quirky designs and sayings painted on them. The only negative I have is the staff presentation. It appears the in thing for all the young women to be adorned with face piercings and the worst hair colouring imaginable. They look like hairdressers worst failures. This combination is a distraction as it does not present an image I associate with good food preparation skills and service. Updated 01/06/2023 So good I had to come back for their Scones, Keto Benny, and their Caramelised Onion & Cheese Toastie. This time, I had the toastie with Sourdough Bread (2nd order). Super delish and satisfying 😍

Loved the vibe of the place and definitely the friendly staff who obliged my requests for "extra toasted, extra chocolaty and extra butter." The Date Scones, extra toasted was so so so good. OMG. Heaven in my mouth. The Keto Benny with Cheesy Muffin was also very, very good. The cheesy fragrant was wafting the air. Had these with a side of black pudding too. Very good. Arrived around second sitting time for lunch and found all tables that weren't in use were dirty and covered in dishes, with the apparently busy staff hurriedly delivering food to tables but then heading back to the kitchen empty (what the???). Eventually cleared a table for ourselves (on to another dirty one) and persuaded a waitress to wipe it.

Had the corn fritters & bacon and spent 10 minutes trying to find an alternative sauce to get away from some unexpected and unwelcome spicy flavours before figuring out the spices I didn't like were in the fritters not the sauces. Still can't figure out why you'd do that to a good old fashioned...
