It’s hard to put in to words how beautifully delicious the food is. We got 3 meals, French toast with bacon which was perfect, just the right amount of sweet n savoury with the crispy bacon and the blueberry French toast. The chicken avocado burger firstly this burger was huge and the chicken was cooked perfectly, I would recommend this if you a burger person because I was blown away. And lastly the chicken panini with a side of fries and chocolate cake to share. Simmer cafe is known from their smoothies and I was not disappointed they are so fresh and delicious, unfortunately they ran out of strawberries for one of the smoothie but it was still so tasty. I will definitely come back to eat here the service was amazing with lovely faces and great attitudes. Thank you Simmer!!

We got to this cafe around noon, and there was a big table that wasn’t cleaned yet, so we waited at the door for them to seat us. We kept standing there while the front staff members saw us but didn’t say anything, just walked right past us. We waited for a few minutes as we saw they were busy, but still received no response. Then I asked one of the male staff with apron for a table for three. He glanced at me, said nothing, and walked off like I wasn’t even there. After waiting a bit longer, they finally cleaned the table and seated us, but with a sour face. I get that it was busy, and we were totally happy to wait. But isn’t it just basic courtesy to respond when someone asks you something? Anyway the food was okay but still not recommended.

Their food is full of flavour! I didn’t expect that a small cafe in a suburb would be my preferred place for Thai food. They have one Thai option, as far as I know, and it’s amazing. Tandoori chicken in garlic naan. My wife also enjoyed a pulled pork burger. Good coffee too. The only reason they lost a star is the limited seating during lunch hour. There’s not much they can do about it, but guests should be aware. My family had to wait in the cold for our lunch, and then wait for people to leave so we can claim a spot inside.

Visited for brunch a week ago at the weekend and ordered the pancakes without bacon, juices, and mushrooms and polenta. The score I have given IS NOT based on the food as this was tasty and very filling. It is on the poor service we received. They got the order wrong so the pancakes had bacon on when it got to the table. I told the waitress this wasn't what was ordered as myself and my partner are vegetarians so cannot eat meat. She then proceeded (with no apology or words) to pick the bacon up with her fingers from my plate and go to the kitchen. This a) was pretty poor food hygiene, (b) left greasy bacon juice all over the side of my plate touching other food (c) was just rude. No new plate was offered, and no more was said about the mix-up. I couldn't eat a lot of the dish because of the possibility of meat contamination and it made me feel quite sick. Simmer has always been a nice cafe to go to, but the staff need a few more manners and lessons in...

Rudest owner ever!! I was stuck in traffic on my way to work this morning and had to stop over to jump on a meeting. I ordered coffee and sat outside to have my quick half an hour call. I had my breakfast I made before I left home so I took it out to have a few bites as I was feeling nauseous. Anyways the owner came as soon as my coffee was finished and took the cup and the spoon from my muesli. Before I left I asked him why he just took the spoon from my food and tried to explain that I was stuck in traffic and just had to pull over to grab a cup of coffee and jump on a quick call. Yep I know eating my own food was not right but I’ll never set foot back into this cafe again and I hope nobody ever gets treated like I did my the cafes owner. You didn’t even have the decency to hear me out and honestly your behaviour was disgusting. Complete A...
