Alfresco's Outdoor Eatery & Pizzeria — Restaurant in West Coast

I struggled with reviewing this place, it wasn’t flavoursome, didn’t have the pasta sauce on it as stated, and was really, really small for their biggest one.

At $30 you expect a bloody good BIG pizza, and you will be wrong.

Finally, this place was disgustingly dirty, the sort of dirty where you wish you had looked before paying.

Hints: checkout the state of the place, before ordering, look at the size of the dishes in the wall, yes they are only that big, and finally, there are cheaper, places that do quality food just down the road, so go there.

Took ages to get served - we had passed by a few days ago and noticed the board offering roasts. We asked for the roast - got told they don't do roasts. Waiter didn't know anything about roasts . Ordered pizza and chips. Pizza good- bowl of chips very small for $7.50. Waited and waited for table to be cleared and maybe consider dessert. In the end went up to window to order Apple pie and sticky date. Very mediocre and would guess not made on premises but purchased from supermarket. What a disaster, we were in Reefton to visit relatives and chose Alfresco for an evening meal and get together. From the garlic bread which was burnt dried out Pizza base to a destroyed Rib-eye,served with salad and Rock hard baked potatoes (could have been bowling balls) plus three servings of cold roast Pork we were rather surprised to have the fifth serving acceptable, but then again how could you stuff up a Salmon Salad.
