Lovely Italian restaurant in a traditionally decorated Touareg building. Set up by a pioneering Italian who has retired in his wife’s village north of Agadez.
Indoor and outdoor seating in a breezy shaded courtyard. Lots of interesting paintings and the menu describes the origins of pizza and the inspiration for the name of the restaurant. Ask for the book tracing the building of their hotel in Iferouane (closed since 2015).
Excellent service. Copious menu of pasta, pizza, lovely fresh salads (the caprese is a standout), meats and seafood.

The eggplant Parmesan was bursting with flavor and the sautéed vegetables were cooked to perfection. The table bread and spicy Pímon sauce was fantastic-very spicy so watch out!
