Okay o, debonairs rebranded to the pizza company and I was here for it cos I love love love debonairs specially, debonairs triple decker.
So I visited the newly rebranded place and still got the triple decker now known as dogward or something...
Hmm... Maybe it was because I had a meeting with someone and did not pick up my pizza fast enough but, it was too dry for me and also, was there a rainfall of thyme in the place cos it was all over the pizza. Now I'm not saying it was bad cos thank goodness I couldn't really taste it (point?) but... It gave it a weird look. Is the chef trying out something?
Awww... I loved and lived for the original triple decker that came soft, warm and seriously succulent. This dogward business was dried out, thymed out and needed to be cheesed on for #5, 900
Ambience is cool. Lots of expatriates coming in and out. Has this airport waiting restaurant vibe. Saw a table having cake and coffee ☕... Cake looked good.
Will try the calzone some other time. Something about the lady taking my money when I asked about the calzone, repeatedly saying... It's just folded pizza with pepperoni made me wary. Like the #2500 calzone has a bad rep there. Omo, did not want to find out with my money.
Ps: when oh when is the pizza company expanding to Surulere area? We too poor for all of una? Delivery is a no-no from Festac place. What's a...
Read moreThis was one of the worst experience for me. Utterly terrible. The Ikeja city mall outlet has no idea of good service, they are poorly trained and lack empathy. Order was made over the phone and WhatsApp. After giving a wrong delivery confirmation, I made payment for 2 pizzas for 2 individuals, 1 was a pickup. They delivered both pizzas to one customer, forgetting it's a mother's day surprise and when the 2nd person came to pick up, they had the audacity to have their dispatch call up the mother they delivered to to insult her and utter rubbish causing much embarrassment and trepidation. And this was after we paid for a 3rd pizza to cover up THEIR own mistake and minimize the damage. Once they realized we won't let their mistake go, they resulted to stop picking their calls. Customer service here needs retraining and overhaul. Uncultured dispatch we can understand, customer service?...

I called from my landline only for her to pick the call and ripped it back after saying hello repeatedly thrice... and then it got me angry and I had to call from my line and when she picked up again, she was Never even formal I had to ask if I was unto debonair's pizza and what her name was .... she was so foolish that she forgot her job at the front desk, I did her job for her instead if she doing it myself.... I called domino pizza from my home landline and in a speed they answering and taking my orders please let there be screening before taking a worker or if they tired let them go rest at home there are millions of people without employment damn...
