The Place Restaurant, Aviation Mall, Ikeja — Restaurant in Ikeja

At last, a The Place restaurant location with much more than ample parking space in the heart of the commercial capital, Ikeja! Be warned, free parking at Aviation Plaza lasts only 45 minutes so make provision in the case you extend beyond 45 minutes.

For first timers driving in, the entrance into Aviation Plaza is on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way right after the traffic lights at Ikeja Under Bridge Roundabout so slow down so you do not miss it.

Staff were so courteous and the restaurant felt really airy, well lit and well spaced out (not common at several other of their locations). I wonder if this has to do with how recently the outlet was opened, but then again I once visited the then newly opened outlet on Herbert Macaulay (near St Dominics's Catholic Church/Marda Barracks Yaba) and their toilets were an absolute mess while the staff I interacted with were not impressive in their engagement.

Of course, the food was tasty - I had Special Rice, dodo & asun washed down with a cold coke.

I'll certainly choose this location over the one at Isaac John Ikeja G.R.A due to the ample...

Nice food, ambience, menu and facilities are as standard to any other The Place outlet. They have "a lot" on the menu, even plenty variety of swallows and accompanying soups. Now the cons; it's always very crowded. Definitely not a good fit for a chill and quiet outing. It isn't noisy though just the sight of being crowded. Also they run out of sides a lot, I couldn't get salad with my rice. Lastly, the restroom is outside the restaurant, I think it's a general restroom for the ground floor in the Aviation Mall (not entirely sure). I think this is more of the Mall's structure problem as opposed to being The Place's own doing. But the restroom is very neat, at least for the gents (I am a guy). Overall, wonderful...

A very nice and new restaurant. I enjoyed a nice lunch out here today for a weekend treat. It's very clean and quite spacious aswell. The compound and car park is quite phenomenonal if it can be maintained. The taste of the food was very good and the price pocket friendly. The atmosphere was very cool and enjoyable. The staff was quite nice and friendly. I like the customer feed back form at the table and then a machine to the same effect. That shows they are confident of their service and are willing to correct any error that may occur. They have a wide variety of dessert and snack to tempt the customers as well.
