This was the single worst restaurant experience I've ever had in Lagos.
I took the family out for lunch (Three adults and 2 children under 6 years). The waiters were polite enough, but after taking our order, they kept us waiting for over 1 and a half hours waiting for our food to arrive. Even after multiple threats that we we would leave if our food didn't arrive soon, there was still no positive response. The children were so cranky and frustrated. We asked for snacks to keep them till the food was ready, the waiter said they had no pastries available.
A manager or owner (I'm not sure) came out to apologise and assured us we would get our food in 5 minutes. We waited another 15 minutes, but still no food.
We had to leave starving eventually. Total wait time was nearly 2 hours. None of the waiters even bothered apologising or tried to stop us from leaving. They just watched us leave. Almost resigned to the fact that their restaurant is terrible. We had to get doughnuts next door just to hold our stomachs.
This was a HORRIBLE experience. This restaurant is clearly not ready to serve the public. The owners need to go back to the drawing board and figure out how to serve large parties.
I was really excited to try this restaurant out because a nice breakfast place close to my home would be amazing.
I also never leave negative reviews on restaurants because i know its not easy to run any business in this country. But I am so disgusted and disappointed by the entire team. I hope this reaches the owners and they fix...
Read moreComing in, I was impressed with the ambiance and setting of the place so my first impression instantly made me want to dine in. In fact, I made a mental note that I’ll come back here sometime this week to have brunch. I went with my Dad and brothers for breakfast and the waiter told us the food was going to take 20 to 25 minutes to come out. Please tell me why it took over an hour before we got our food. We wanted to eat-in but couldn’t because of how long we were waiting. It was when I said I wanted to pay for my coffee and leave that the owner came and pleaded with me to wait and do takeaway instead. She said she’s going to pack it up right now. The “packing up” took another 20-25 minutes. The only reason I waited longer was because the owner was very sweet to me and kept on apologizing for the misinformation on how long my order was going to take.
I haven’t tasted the food yet cause I lost my appetite after such a long delay. We ordered akara, oats, chicken sandwich, skillet, americano and cappuccino. Honestly I won’t go back there, because I didn't feel like my time was valued or respected. I came in hungry, and left hungry but who knows, your experience might be different. The only way I can return as a customer is if you practice integrity and...
