GYPSYS LAGOS This might be controversial, but we think Gypsys offers the best blend of quality and price of any restaurant in Lagos

We probably ended up over ordering, so don't let the total damage scare you off, but this is a great place to go for groups.

Our favs were the butter naan and chicken tikka masala. The sauces for both the fish fillet and boneless chicken hit you like Mike Tyson, so prepare for that, but the protein itself was very tasty

Their chicken spring rolls and Samosas were heavily filled and worked as a great starter. The service was great and the wait time wasn't long. Parking space is also adequate. If you're looking for a place to take your family or a group to for cheap affordable meals, Gypsys dey for you. 10/10.

This small but quaint restaurant is nestled in the heart of Ilupeju, Lagos. They serve Indian and Asian Cuisine. And they're quite affordable too! It's perfect for a quiet evening dinner. One thing I love about the place is that their portions are great. I've been there twice and both times I left with a full belly. ⠀ We had the Chicken Tikka Masala with Butter Naan (This is chicken cubes in thick sauce which we scooped up with Naan which is buttery flat bread.) ⠀ And shrimp in garlic sauce. If you don't like shrimp or garlic don't order this one. It's heavy on the spices. I'd suggest you research a bit beforehand if you're not familiar with Asian food otherwise ordering will take time. ⠀ One other thing I love about the place is they have ridiculously cheap desserts. I mean it was so hidden we had to go on an on trying to locate the place ..

The street leading on to place is quite dark They have parking space to take about 8 cars They have cool scenes and lightning for pictures

The restaurant is quite cosy and neat they have round tables to take large groups and small tables for couples and singles

The portions are large and can be shared by 2 people It’s really affordable and different.

Word of advice if you don’t like spices this might not be for you ..
