I liked this place but I could not tell what exactly it was. A bar? Lounge? Restaurant? Club? I was here on a Friday night and it initially had the ambience of a lounge. It was really loud but with great music. It's not a great place for a cozy date on Friday night. It sort of morphed into a club by midnight. I loved the aesthetics. A lot of thought was put into that. Perfect for a group hangout. I really liked the DJ. The food was prompt. We all ordered chips and Chicken. That's the easiest and most ordered meal I noticed. Drinks and meals were moderately priced. You can budget 20 - 40k for 2 people depending on how much you order. They staff looked hardworking. They were on their feet all night and they looked like they had more juice to go on when I was leaving. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I wish I sat outdoors though. It also got very cramped by 11 pm on that night. If you hate crowded places, this is not for you. Their drinks menu is pretty packed and I wasn't surprised seeing as they are at the top of a wine shop. Yet they didn't have some wines. They didn't have parking. You have to park on the side of the road. No wheelchair accessible entrance. Not COVID compliant. I'll try to be back on a week night to see if things...
Read moreStraight to the review ladies and gentlemen! We had Blue Daiquiri and strawberry mojito, on point! We also had the chicken wings and fries (so good we ordered 2 portions 👀), Oshey drunken noodles and Beef burger spicy. The burger was so good, so beefy, so juicy 😍😍😍, so delicious. The noodles on the other hand was worth every penny! I loved it, I’m very critical when it comes to noodles, very 😂 so when I told Leboo that I enjoyed it, e shock am 😂.
Oshey bar is an affordable spot on the mainland, Yaba to be precise. Menu is limited but they deliver on it, wait time is precise and kept to a minimal.
The waiter that attended to us was very knowledgeable on the menu and relatable, I applaud.
Now the icing on the cake is the ambience, perfect for Friday parte after parte. I love the space, it feels like you walked into an Irish bar on St Patrick’s day.
I loved my experience!
A good budget for two is N15k if you want to...
Read moreOshey has a vibe I really like—perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends after work. However, I often question their menu; so many items are just unavailable! I tried the egg fried rice, and let’s just say, pass on that! Wrong basmati and no flavors developed. Maybe it’s my highly refined taste buds, but when I say it needs improvement, I mean it.
On the bright side, the shawarma is amazing, but it’s always out of stock! I keep going back, hoping to snag some… I literally beg for it! 🙄
The music is decent, but it could use a bit more style. Plus, the volume is too loud for a chill hangout. As for the cocktails, I'm tempted to try them, but if they can’t keep the shawarma stocked, who knows what’s missing from the drinks? I usually settle for a chilled beer while hoping the shawarma makes a comeback!
Overall, it’s a mixed bag, but I keep coming back, holding out hope for that...
