The food was terrible; I ordered Rice and Sauce under the chicken menu but only got bland rice with little presence of spring shoots & sweet corn. The sauce was a half-done bland stew. 2/10
The coleslaw was cut too large, and the mayonnaise (or whatever it was) was not speaking volumes and was dripping, probably cos it was diluted to cut corners. 2/10
The espresso was too bitter; there was no balance whatsoever. Sweetness wasn't cutting through, acidity barely there with just a tiny hint of crema. 3/10
The chicken sandwich was poor; for starters, it was a wrap & I asked for a traditional sandwich. The chicken taste wasn't present (you could only know there's chicken when you look). The seasoning was not present, the sauce used was a poor choice (it tasted like Greek yoghurt overdosed with vinegar), and the vinegar's acidity was hitting the dental. 1/10
Hot Choco was the only one bringing a good fight to the ring. I can't complain much here tbh. 7/10
And to cap it off, it took over 40 minutes to get our orders.

Read moreDesign: Beautiful Aesthetic, the designs were carefully thought out. I really liked the waterfall area by the wall as well as the modern and minimalist designs in the V.I.P blue room.
Food & Drinks: The strawberry daiquiri was the best I’ve ever had. Also, the Chicken Alfredo and burger weren’t bad, but for the price I expected it to taste better. Fish suya, sandwiches & Arabian tea were tasty.
Hygiene/Cleanliness: The areas seemed pretty clean and I liked that the staff made an effort to clean the surfaces and clear the table once we were done eating.
Service: The service was okay, no complaints. The food arrived on time & the waitress tried her best to be attentive to us.
Family/Date Friendly: This isn’t a family friendly restaurant, it’s more for chilling for grown ups. If you want to go with kids consider going earlier in the day.
Price: Food is pricey, but I really enjoyed the drinks and would like to give the breakfast menu a try, so I’ll be revisiting.

Read moreOh where do I begin. I rarely write reviews but was frustrated about too many things. I called New Yorker first to confirm they were open for deliveries which they confirmed they were. I sent in my order by text and made payment via bank transfer. About 40mins after order was placed delivery driver called me for directions. I told him I don’t know the area and he should follow his google map. He explained to me he has no data so unable to follow a map. How will a restaurant this size send a driver out for delivery with no access to maps? Not even a network issue but due to lack of date. Ridiculous. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I received the wrong order and the chicken wings ordered was burnt. For the prices they charge, the delivery service has left a bad taste for me. Will not be ordering...
