Teemas Catering Services — Restaurant in Rivers State

The food is always nice. They are friendly but you won’t get your money back if you have a failed POS transaction where you got debited but their terminal showed failed. This happened to me in February 2023; I got confirmation and even a printout from my bank that proved that although the terminal showed failed, the funds were in their account. They told me that I wasn’t getting my funds back, and even if they confirmed and the fund were in the account, I’d have to order food worth that amount as they were not going to refund me cash. As you must have guessed, they were never able to confirm and the manager stopped picking up my calls whenever I tried to call and follow up.

The new one they brought this year 2024 (I came in for the first time since feb 2023) is that they don’t accept cash; it must be a payment via transfer to their company account or debit via POS- and I’m like, the same POS that debited me (and so many others that fateful day) and the transaction still failed??? Y’all must not be serious.

Overall, they get a very low score because of how they handle their customers’ complaints and bringing up policies that don’t make any sense, and without prior notice. I’ll never be coming...

I'll start from the exterior; there was no parking space! The parking lot is really small and during the rush hour, you'd have to park on the road or park in the next building's lot (I forget the name of the building)

Parking space woes aside, the service at Teemas is top-notch. The staff were polite and welcoming, the tables clear of used dishes, and the environment properly air-conditioned. I would, however, recommend that they change their placemats for each customer. I can't say if it's possible, but I think a meal served on un-soiled placemats taste better. Maybe that's just me.

If you're a fan of all things bony, fishy, and seafood-y, I highly recommend the famous Fisherman soup. If you're not, I still recommend it. It's an experience you don't want to miss. Plus, how can you say you've been in PHC without tasting that soup?

I had a lovely experience with Teemas. I especially loved how neat and tidy inside and outside was. The service was exceptional, and Godwin was a good salesman. Toilet was neat, the place didn't have a smell unlike most restaurants. Now let's talk about food!

I had the seafood okro, which I enjoyed, but it wasn't a 'seafood' okro, it lacked seafood and its elements. It had 1 crab, periwinkles, and tiny shrimps that were hand-picked. My protein was fresh fish. It's important to note that the soups are expensive, I repeat it's expensive.

Oh, I had the Teemas special smoothie. I super loved it. It was refreshing and delicious. I want more!!! Will definitely be...
