Pow Restaurant — Restaurant in Wuse II

Ordered the large platter as it doesn’t even feed 1 person let alone two, the rest of the food was bland and not even well served. Absolutely poor service!! When we came in, there was no one to get the door, no one to seat us, also we had to ask the guy at the bar to get a server to bring us menu’s. You’re charging the prices of restaurants that offer fine dinning, but offering roadside like services. I’m addition to the fact that they're clearly short-staffed, when we came in, there was a gateman looking individual seated where customers could see them clearly, and where customers are supposed to sit, he was seated alongside someone who worked in the back kitchen gisting like it wasn’t regular work hours. Get a manager and revise your portions, or close down the business. Waste of money! Stay at home or go...

Went for sushi.. My experience was soo bad.. First off, got to the restaurant, there was no power, had to sit in the heat, there was no form of ventilation, no windows, was sweating throughout.. They reuse their chopsticks, they had mold stains on them and smelt bad.. Ordered a drink, i was served with a cup that had a small cockroach smashed on the rim of the cup.. Plates and tray were dirty.. I was soo disgusted but I payed soo much for the food that I just had to eat it.. On the upside the sushi itself wasn't bad but unfortunately the food there is a bit expensive for the portion sizes.. When it came time to pay the bill they charged me a 15% service charge and 5% VAT on the bill, what the hell is that.. The experience was horrible, Istill have that strange feeling in my gut like I probably ate some baby...

An overall average Japanese restaurant!

For starters, we had the large platter and chicken maki rolls. The name 'large platter' was deceptive as we expected an array of options on the platter than was presented. The options provided were somewhat dry and chewy. The chicken maki on the other hand was ok, although I've had better. I would have thought that the wasabi would be served separately but it was added to the soy sauce prior to presentation.

For our main course, we followed up with vegetable & Chicken Pad Thai and Yaki Udon with Shrimp Mongolian Sauce as side. The vegetables were over cooked and didn't taste fresh; however the Mongolian Sauce added flavor to the meal.
