STANICA Oaza — Restaurant in Municipality of Struga

In Struga we were looking for a place to eat, but we weren't satisfied with the tourist-y places along the beach and river. After a little searching, we came to Oaza. From the moment we were greeted to after our meal we were throughly satisfied. This place is clean, well kept, and full of Macidoinan decor. We had drinks, meze platter, shospka salad and entrees. EVERYTHING was delicious! They use fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The sauces were made in-house with time and care. Our server ( the owner) was so welcoming and very fluent in English. She was great at explaining our dishes and recommended the best food we have had in Macidoina so far. We did go at a slower time of day, so we feel like we got special treatment. We will definitely go back and would love to recommend this to our friends and family. Thank you again, Oaza! Update: First, I must reiterate how much my family enjoyed this restaurant. Unfortunately, though, on our last visit before leaving North Macedonia. The staff unintentionally charged my husband 4 times for the meal. We believe they had an issue with their card reader, and as of the 25th June 2025, they have not corrected this mistake. It's totally unintentional, but I wanted to be honest...

If you're reading this review and do not visit this restaurant on your first or last visit to Ohrid or Struga you will not experience the best service and food quality in the area, period! Definitely a hidden gem. Family owned and operated. The owners go above and beyond to accommodate you and advice you on specials of the day and anything else from the menu. Finger liking Selsko Meso; Rebro vo furna; Gurmanska Pleskavica...anything you order you won't make a mistake. Price, unbelievably reasonable. Have lunch or dinner there, you will go back...

The food is decent, but not impressive. Below expectations. The restaurant's ratings are highly inflated. The restaurant was empty, even though we were there in the evening. There were no dishes to share. The waitress was still learning and didn't know the menu—her first day on the job. The owner/manager should supervise the staff. The Macedonian mezze platter for TWO people is essentially toast with four slices of cheese! I consider 550 MKD for this dish a scam. Either the owner has changed, or the reviews are unreliable.
