A haven of good food and friendly service in Veles. The owner Tale was so helpful in telling us what was available. The food was fresh, delicious and traditional, especially pindjur, the aubergine, pepper and tomato spread. I wish I had asked for the recipe! Make sure to look upstairs if you are eating downstairs, as there are fascinating old photographs of Veles on the walls. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and Tale is clearly proud of his culinary heritage, as his ancestors opened the first kafana in Veles 100 years ago. Highly...
