Baracoa Café Asker — Restaurant in Asker

Unfortunately have to lower my rating. I have tried eating on site and ordering on Foodora several times over the past months and the food was very disappointing each time. Tiny portions, generally not great and definitely not worth the price. The potatoes that come with the burger are just dripping fat. Very unfortunate, since the location is nice and the food used to be good too. Thought it was a temporary issue due to covid, but it still just feels like it's getting smaller and worse every time. Not sure I'll want to try the food...

Beautiful day outside, we sit down on one of their many, not so busy, outside tables. We get ignored for 10 minutes. Finally we get contact to a waiter who asks if we have ordered already, we deny that. The waiter turns to walk away, we call that we would like to see the menu and the waiter turns back to give us menues... Over all ot was hard to take contact with the staff and often there was no personal in sight at all even when there where two waiters on outside duty. Good...

Spent far too much money to see a band which didn't even arrive for nearly two hours. At this point it was STILL a DJ, and then supposed to be another band first, which hadn't started yet, either. Figured that if the main act couldn't be bothered, I couldn't either, and left. Waste of money. Shall just hang out with the same great people I did this time in future, but without the addition of what was basically an overpriced dark room. Will definitely...
