We went there to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary that my husband wanted to make bit more special than Peppes Pizza (we love Peppes Pizza in Asker as they always cater to our needs and for kids too). We were there with our kids.

I am a vegan and asked for what could they offer for vegan. I kept being offered things from the menu with shrimps, fish, chicken or beef. After explaining again what vegan meant, the waiter decided it was just “vanlig pasta” or regular pasta that I needed. I said I would still need some sauce on my pasta. Even mentioned tomato sauce, Arabia ta, aglio e olio.

But I am obviously not a chef.

Because what came out was boiled pasta that I usually make at home for kids. I was given a bottle of olive oil and salt and pepper so “I can make it myself”.

This costed my husband 200 NOK. And it took them 1 hour to make (together with our other dishes). And all of us were still hungry after and cooked again at home.

If you like boiled pasta and take it as the only vegan pasta option, please enjoy the restaurant. For me definitely a memorable wedding anniversary...

Came to eat early dinner, on Monday, not on a busy day. Ordered negroni cocktail, which was halfway there, watery and lacking taste. Ordered pizza with prosciutto and pizza quattro formaggi picante. Pizza dough was undercooked and tasteless. Tomato sauce unnoticed. Quattro cheese felt more like two cheese, all soggy and the main taste was dry oregano with cheap olive oil. Instead of prosciutto I got ham. Overall experience was quite unpleasant, food under any standards of Italian cuisine, very disappointed. I can suggest to come drink some beer or wine, but definitely do not recommend to come here for...

This was a let-down. We ordered food for two adults and two kids. After ordering our food, the waiter came back twice to let us know that first one, and then a second of our dishes was unavailable so we had to order something else. The veal stew was advertised to come with fresh, home made mashed potatoes, but came with rather boring potatoes instead. The food was good otherwise, but the portions for the adults were small and left us hungry despite the rather large price tag. Finally, the fries for the kids arrived when we were more or less done eating the rest of the meal. Sorry, we won't return...
