Tintin Sushi — Restaurant in Bærum

I absolutely love this place! While it might seem a bit out of the way from Oslo’s city center, it’s perfectly positioned right at Lysaker station – super convenient! Their fish and meat are top-notch (definitely try the dishes with the ecological chicken!).

Today, I made my way back and treated myself to their sashimi (salmon and kveite) – it was divine. Next up was the smoked salmon nigiri, which honestly might be the best I’ve ever had: just the right amount of rice and a generous slice of salmon on top. And let’s not forget the sushi with shrimp tempura – a must-try!

Oh, and a few days ago, they had king crab on the menu, and let me tell you – it was OMG melt-in-your-mouth perfection.

If you’re in the area, make a point to drop by! It’s not too busy during the day, so it’s a hidden gem for client meetings or just picking up a takeaway. It’s cosier than you’d expect, and the staff? Friendly...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this amazing Japanese restaurant for the second time, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delightful! On this visit, I decided to go for their udon dish, and I have complete confidence in recommending it to all of you. The flavors were superb!

While I'm not particularly a sushi enthusiast, it's quite amusing that I actually had sushi during my first visit back in 2016. Time sure flies! Nonetheless, I can assure you that regardless of my personal preference, this restaurant has a wide range of delicious options to suit all tastes.

Looking ahead, I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to this incredible place. I just need to save up a bit more to fully enjoy everything it has to...

Great food! Probably the best you can get in Lysaker. I especially recommend the Korean dishes, the Classic Bibim Bab is my favourite and comes with miso and kimchi, making it a great deal. The service is good and the prices reasonable. The interior is unconventional due to the small size and strange shape of the room, but they've done really well with what they have. The location in a very impersonal train station structure brings the experience down a little, but if you find yourself going hungry in the area and value food and service over location then this...
