Mats & Martin — Restaurant in Oslo

Here’s the thing, the place looked good, staff were nice enough, the food also looked good, but… When we were seated they asked what we wanted to drink, that’s fine, they bring it out, then they ask if we were ready to order the food. Sure we say, then the waitress proceeds to tell us they only have enough for 1 more pizza!? They also only had enough chicken for two more chicken burgers? It is also worth noting the food was pretty pricey, and the burgers don’t even come with fries. All of this is especially strange since we got there sometime around 18:00. So they don’t have the food on the menu, literally around dinner time, and it’s also worth mentioning they weren’t even that packed, mostly empty tables. We asked if maybe some of us could order there and the others could order from other places and eat there, since they physically didn't have the food we were going to order. That was not allowed, so we left. 1 of us still ordered though, and it was apparently good food. Still very disappointing that they didn’t...

Sign says wait to be seated. No servicepersonnel and chefs behind counter talking to themselves. After some minutes waitress arrives and says free seating. Order a bottle of Sancerre. Waitress ask for me to point it out at the winelist. Another waitress comes with a bottle after a while. Bottle is opened. Dont know where. One of my guests order Pizza. Takes a very long time. Not impressed with anything except the amount on the bill. Not...

Vi er ikke fancy fancy av oss. Men jag er vokst opp med god mat og har besøkt en god del kjente restauranter i verden. Vi stoppet innom her fordi mc Donalds føltes lit kjedelig ut ( som det jo alltid er). Vi bestillte humoristisk nok 2 burgere med fries. En med oksekjøtt og en fritert kylling. Når maten kom på bordet så ser det helt nydelig ut. Men desverre var kyllingen helt uspiselig.. det var en fritert kylling med brysk og fett rullet inn i en smakløs panering. Det som gikk an å spise har var bunnen med salat. Så til kokkene : skjær igjennom kyllingen lit mer nøye og bruk kunn kylling file (ta bort fett og brysk som ikke kan spises samt sener, det ser usmakelig ut).
