Little Thai — Restaurant in Lillestrøm

A favorite of mine in Lillestrøm. It's called "Lille Thai" ("Little Thai" ), and they serve Thai dishes like red curry and Pad Thai, but they also have Chinese classics like chopsuey and kong bao

I especially recommend the lamb dish and the red curry.

They have some standard child menu items, my daughter loves the noodles they make.

All the dishes I have tried have been well prepared with good quality ingredients. For instance one can tell that they use fresh bamboo shoots and not the cheap canned version.

The dishes are presented in easy that looks good, with minimalistic touch (fear not, the portions are not minimal).

The staff is friendly, and took good care of us.

We stopped here for an early dinner, but it was probably the worst choice we've made. The service was okay and the atmosphere was fine, but the food was horrible!! We ordered Kylling Wonton, Sichuan Scampi, and Sweet Sour Pork. It felt like veggies and meat were thrown in store bought sauces. No flavor!! It also felt like the dish was pre-prepared and heated in a microwave. The veggies, scampi, and pork was way too hot from the inside, something you would notice when heated in a microwave.

Portion size was decent, and so it was probably the only saving grace. The quality of food is really bad for the price they charged. Definitely a...

This was the worst Thai meal I've had in years. Gloppy sauce, hardly any vegetables. Menu lacked some of the basic dishes (no green curry, no papaya salad, no mango salad). I think it might be a Chinese restaurant as the menu had shrimp with sichuan sauce and peking duck listed. All in all I was embarassed as I had invited someone out for a work dinner and the food was the pits. Only good features: comfortable booths and quick service. Sadly, there is a much better Thai place two minutes away so wished...
