It was a late, cold autumn day when I visited this place. I think I arrived fairly close to their opening hour and was a bit nervous that I might be the only customer. However, it turned out there was only one table available, and there were many Asian clientele—a good sign. I felt both relieved and lucky.
Ordering food was done through a QR code on the table, which went smoothly. I ordered the beef pho, and the food arrived quite quickly.
The soul of pho is in the broth, and this one tasted decent, though a bit heavy on the MSG. The rice noodles had a good texture, and the meat was very tender. The portion size was generous. I appreciated that they served the bean sprouts and herbs on the side so that you could adjust the amount to your preference. 😌😌

At first i thought crab noodle soup tasted a bit bland...but that was until i started eating the pork, bloodpudding, tofu, crab meat balls, sausage. each of them exploding with flavour adding to the soup stocks flavour. This place deserves 5 star for taste. First time i ever had summer rolls i liked as well. Highly recommend PhoHien in Strømmen for your next meal!
