Gondol Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Oslo

My overall experience was very bad. We were told to go and sit and someone will come shorty to help us but all the tables were really dirty with food pieces and no one seemed to tried to clean them either. When asked about the food for religious purpose we got the answer that “they don’t know” and seemed a bit annoyed when we struggled to choose a different dish because of the answer.

The dirty tables seemed to attract flies and later one of the flies fell into the drink, when asked if it was possible to get a new as no one wants a drink with a dead fly in it, we incountered a man who seemed to be the manager/owner(?)( assuming that, because he was working with the laptop and working a bit around the restaurant). He answered with “IS THIS MY FAULT” with a very rude and annoyed tone. When we finally got the new drink which I highly doubt is new, the same man served with annoyance. We were also charged for it, which is honestly fine but very unnecessary the way the worker acted.

We ordered two chicken dish and one lamb. The food seemed decent yet a bit cold. While the lamb meat seemed severely undercooked. It’s not that I expect a 5 star service but my overall experience was not good at all. I would not advise anyone to go there as there are far better restaurants.
