One Of the best reastaurants I’ve ever had here in Oslo. Wined & dined here twice, summertime & autumn of this year both great & spectacular experiences for me. Summertime was the best due to many reasons of course given the beautiful sunny weather Which is very short time here in Norway so we took the opportunity to seat in the veranda having that very Scandinavian but reminded me also of that Mediterannean (Toulon, port city of southern part in France, Nice, Monaco, ; Tuscany in Italy, & some other beautiful parts of the world Where I’ve. been & can align this resto. on them) Very cozy & summerfeels ambiance while enjoying their delightful & refreshing summer menu paired with opulent wines & beverages accompanied by friendly staffs, great service. & Thank you for the wonderful experience rendered to us!

Autumn Season, was also great experience. for me & my Aunt Britt as it was my post birthday celebration, truly awesome experience for us once again, very tasteful & Hearty food especially their Bouillabaisse, my all time Favorite also was the beef tartar for appetizers w/ some side dishes i.e. ham, cheese, salami, olives, humus & other finger foods w/ aoli dip too! So my overall rating is up to Par, Excellent service. Thank you & more power to all of the staffs, chefs, & Owners of Lille O!

the main issue is that there is no English menu and the waitress poorly communicates the menu structure and content. I wanted the entrecote and salad. I was never told that I would get so few meat, probably . I also asked for extra french fries and they never told me the fries would be covered with parmesan cheese. I didn't like it and this was wasted money. My friend had a burger with fries and didn't get the parmesan. I wish Why did I and why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you tell me this was a light starter? it was too late to order a main meal, so I choose cheese to get some food. And again, what a disapointment. I got 2 tiny sticks of cheese and 2 "fried" bread sticks. I had to order room service when I went back to my hotel as I was still hungry. overall, it's a lot of money for little to eat. But for anyone who reads this, be aware that this does not represent the entirety and diversity of the food scene in Oslo. Oslo is a great city for dining! Just need to find the place that fits your needs. On a positive note: the restaurant has a good atphosphere, lots of room between guest...

Very unoriginal lunch menu with just three different dishes plus a dish of the day. I decided to go for the dish of the day which was pork neck. The dish was small with just some normal coleslaw and boiled potatoes. Not very exciting at all. Worst of all was that the potatoes were really undercooked. I told the waitress and she returned the dish to the kitchen. When I finally got it back the potatoes were still undercooked! So for the second time I told the waitress that the potatoes were undercooked. This time I didn’t want to risk it anymore so I asked for the hamburger instead. Whilst I was waiting for the hamburger the manager came out to apologise and said that I didn’t have to pay for the burger. Very professional of him. The hamburger was tasty but the fries were not properly fried and a bit soggy. The staff in general is not very attentive and it takes a long time even to get the drinks you order. Also they did not have any sodas without sugar which I found really weird. Probably not a place I will...

Amazing place. A gem that just opened. First visit for me in Sep2022. There will be many more. The ex dreamteam from Grisen has transplanted in this stunning house the same great service, and somehow concept, from their previous restaurant. Expect a short menu, with more focus on quality than quantity, emphasizing nordic/Norwegian food with European touch. The efforts on deco are totally impressive (More typical of London or Hong Kong venues really). Will become even more “koselig” with time. Great outdoor seating also - to be tried when spring returns. The historical house where Lille O finds its home (and the entire neighborhood actually) are just amazing. An architecture pearl, combining new and old very nicely. A bit off the beaten track in our capital city, and that is nice! Worth a visit just for anyone who is a fan of Oslo really. APR 2023: a new dinner here and the experience is even better! The menu may be short, but it’s packed with amazing flavors. And service is always so solid - personal and caring.

I recently dined at this charming restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The interior is incredibly cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a night in. But what really surprised me was how lovely the outdoor seating area is - it's ideal for a meal al fresco on a nice day. The food was great, but the real highlight was the salad, which came with a generous amount of chicken - a nice touch, as it's not something you often find in abundance. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist us, even though there wasn't an English menu. The dessert of the day was a great way to round off the meal, and I appreciated the variety of vegetarian options available. The wine list was also impressive, with some excellent choices. Overall, a great dining experience that I'd definitely recommend!
