My friend and I got there, there was no one in the café, we said hi and the staff were chatting about travel plans, we said hi again like hello are we being ignored? And we were told “one moment” and when the two girls finished their conversation about traveling somewhere “hopefully next year” we were asked what did we want to order. I ordered a hot chocolate with soy milk. Price: 79 nok I pay, wondering how on earth a single hot chocolate can cost more than a cake at the same store. I see the menu they have on the wall and it says hot chocolate 59 nok. I ask for the receipt. I see they have charged me for a ceremonial cacao, 69 nok PLUS 10 nok for the soy milk. I asked the staff why I was charged for the soy milk if the place is supposed to be vegan and I’m told anything other than oat milk is charged extra. I check the menu again, nowhere to find where that extra comes from as I wasn’t even informed when ordering.

Last time I visited location in Adamstuen I noticed how little space there was and how loud the atmosphere was. Standing up from my seat to walk to the cash register and back meant practicing my Tetris skills. Staff was indifferent and not very service minded or efficient. My biggest problem was finding out there is no bathroom available for customers which leaves me puzzled how can it be legal to run a cafe without a restroom available.
