ZiOPizza Marienlyst — Restaurant in Oslo

Yesterday, my girlfriend an I had a wonderful experience at this newly opened pizza restaurant. We had a prosciutto and a salami pizza The pizza dough was super thin, crispy throughout the whole meal and a great consistency. The red sauce had a clean delicate flavor and correctly applied (amount). The white sauce had exiting cheesey flavours. The toppings were generous and well balanced. We had a couple of glasses of the chefs recommended red wine. It paired very well with the pizzas. The had an existing list of wine sold by the bottle. I recently visited Zio Pizza in Marienlyst, Oslo, and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a casual evening or a special night out.

The pizzas were absolutely outstanding. I tried the Zio Pizza Special, which had a perfect balance of spiciness from the n’duja and the sweetness of their chili honey. This is small, cosy pizzeria located close to busy Majorstuen, I visited to try out their vegan options. Turns out Zio's has the best vegan pizza I've ever had in Norway.

The very friendly owner is Italian and imports his ingredients from the old country, so no wonder the crust took me back to holidays in Italy.
