Peppes Pizza - Skøyen — Restaurant in Oslo

Came over for a bite to eat after exploring Oslo all day on foot. Felt like reaching oasis! Had pulled pork burgers that were served with tortilla chips (no cheese involved) but the burger was quite nice - strong BBQ flavour and soft meat. House red wine was also quite decent. Staff is attentive and very honest which is very nice. Prices... We are talking g Oslo here, so not too bad (burger was about £15-16). Would go...

I'd heard Peppe's Pizza was amazing, and was eager to try it out. Service was cold to say the least, which contributed to the real lack of buzz. As to the pizza itself, the crust was excellent, but the rest rather lacklustre. For the money, it just didn't pop out enough. They mixed up my order, left out an ingredient. I brought my pizza back and I thought they were baking a new one but no, they added the ingredient and baked the same pizza AGAIN. It ended being super dry and too hard in some spots but I didnt have time to complain again I had to run...... I paid full price for this...
