Was an amazing Italian guy working there. Very friendly and nice to talk to. Also very efficient serving both drink and pizza. The crust was very good. But I bought the wrong pizza. I took a spicy version and the after taste of the sauce was not really something I enjoyed. But this is due to my personal preferences, and not something that should be used against the restaurant. Next time I will try a pizza with their regular tomato sauce. All in all very good, though not the very best pizza I ever had. Also, forgot my bag there, and they came running after me with the bag in their hands. Very nice gesture. Overall: will definitely try again.

Ordered three dishes for dinner, 1) pizza 2) pasta 3) lasagna. Wait almost half an hour for the pizza to finally be served. Fine. Thought the other two dishes were coming soon right after. Nope. Waiting a total of almost an hour so we finally asked about our food-- turns out they FORGOT about it, even though the orders were in the system. They apologized and said they'll serve our food right away. Fine. Our food finally came, looks good but it tasted very mediocre, definitely not worth the wait. The worst part is, after eating the pasta (see attached picture) I ended up with a stomach bug.

I recently visited this Italian restaurant in my neighborhood, and overall, it was a good experience. I ordered a calzone and a salami pizza (forgot the name). The calzone was delicious and we really enjoyed it. The pizza, though, was a bit too salty for my taste. The inside of the place could use a bit more attention to cleanliness, and the staff seemed super busy, so we didn’t get a lot of attention.

I've deleted my previous 5-star review from two years ago as the present menu and staff unfortunately don't stand up to that rating. What used to be an à la carte has turned into an Italian diner.

During the months and dining here 5+ times the quality of the food has been hit or miss. Mostly average. And the staff can't even force a smile. The waitresses on training were actually wonderful, but their main staff clearly aren't doing a job they enjoy.

Pasta has still been great but, to be honest, pasta is hard to mess up. Pizza, on the other hand, depends on which pizzaioli is by the oven - one can see the mastery of the dough and its form between the chefs.

The main courses don't feel special, just the same ingredients, plated the same exact way with minor differences on weather you ordered chicken or beef. And even then the herbed chicken lacks seasoning. 330kr for a piece of chicken and cauliflower with a dash of sauce. This wasn't the case before - I clearly remember eating a lobster pasta and eating poached pears in wine.

One day we asked for soup of the day and we clearly got the impression from the conversation in Italian between the waitress and the chef that he hadn't thought about the dish until we asked for it. We got served a purréed salami and broccoli soup. With all due respect, it was awful. And this comes from a person who works in service and would never 86 a meal at a restaurant out of sheer respect for ingredients.

I've also noticed that the desserts are thawed, moist, and they're served in glass jars which shows that they don't get plated and fired, just served straight from the fridge. I'm sorry, something needs to be done...

It's been a really long time since I experienced this kind of bad service in a restaurant. I mean the bad service here was taken to a whole other level. There was 5 of us and we had made a reservation beforehand. They managed to place us in a really tight spot, right next to the front entrance and they were really rude when we asked if there was another table (even though 3/4 of the restaurant was empty). Not once did any of the waitresses come over and ask how the food was and asked to refill our water or wine/beer? All five of us were sitting with empty glasses throughout the majority of the meal. The wait staff were all sitting/standing behind the bar chatting to each other or busy going out smoking (in front of the restaurant where we could still see them) instead of tending to their guests. The food and presentation of the food was pretty decent, so its too bad that the whole dining experience has to bee ruined by really bad service. When we left, the restaurant was still 3/4 empty. Dont...

One of the worst Pizza I ever ate! The dough was a hard knekkebrød, almost no tomato sauce and no cheese, over cooked. It's totally unacceptable to be served such a pizza in an Italian restaurant. The waiter forgot part of my order. I had to remind him. When I asked for the bill, the waiters did not dare asking how it went. Because either they are aware the pizzas are horrible or don't care. When you end up in Narvesen to buy an ice-cream after going to a restaurant, it tells you a lot about the restaurant experience you had. Avoid at all costs!

Edit: the owner replied to my review and stated that apparently it is the customer's responsibility to ask for a good pizza in case you get...
