The K Chicken Sandnes — Restaurant in Sandnes

I moved to Stavanger last year and this is my absolute favorite spot to eat in Stavanger/Sandnes! I have been eating fried chicken my whole life and til this day there is no place that beats this place on their fried chicken! They are crispy without being too hard to bite or cut into, they break easily and chicken remains juicy and tender on the on the inside. The sauce is so flavorful and coats the chicken beautifully without making it soggy! They really masteren their craft here!

And that is only the chicken.. their corndog is huge and taste like heaven! They look just like the ones you see on K-dramas. They are so addictivly good and perfect for a filling snack on the go.

Their Kimchi is also worth mentioning! They make it themselves and is just perfect! I definatly recomended trying their garlic soy and honey...

I got the garlic soy chicken (which comes with salad and rice) for 189 kr. The chicken is crispy and the garlic soy sauce is delicious. The salad was just basic cabbage but the sauce/seasoning made jt very tasty. The rice was a bit too wet for my liking but still alright. At first glance the portions don’t seem a lot but i was very full after finishing everything.

The restaurant is conveniently located a stone throw’s away from the Sandnes Train Station. There are only a few seats for dining it so it is mainly a takeaway place. We arrived at about 15mins after opening time on sunday so the wait wasnt very long, about 10/15 minutes.

I had the spicy and sweet fried chicken with rice. Chicken: 9.5/10 Sweet and salty not to spicy, saus is thick and sticky. Chicken cooked perfect, its juicy but crispy at the same time! Alot of flavor. Best sweet and spicy chicken ive had in Norway. Rice: 8/10 Dont get me wrong the rice is amazing fluffy and sticky. But i wish it had a bit more "flavor" to it, its not enough sauce for the rice. wish maby you added some soya sauce in the box. I added a little bit of soya sauce at home so it worked out.
