India Tandoori Restaurant & Takeaway - Bryne — Restaurant in Time

I stopped at this Indian restaurant while driving to Oslo. At first, I was a little unsure if I had come to the right place since there were two names on the building – the same one as on Google, but also Bombay Vikings Cocktail Bar. That was a bit confusing.

For food, I ordered a Mixed Grill (6.5/10), a Blue Cheese & Paneer Naan (5/10), a Garlic Kulcha Naan (4/10), and a Mango Lassi (10/10). The grill tasted good but was disappointing for the price – the portion of meat was quite small, and the rice on the side was very plain. I would also have expected more variety (like prawns or onions on the sizzling platter) and a bit more sauce. The naan breads were also underwhelming; the flavors didn’t really come through. On the other hand, the Mango Lassi was fantastic – very unique with extra syrup on top, definitely a 10/10.

The atmosphere was very nice, the restaurant was beautifully decorated, the toilets were spotless, and the staff were extremely friendly...

We ordered takeaway for dinner through wolt. The delivery was on time and a friendly driver , unfortunately the 'Calmari' was completely inedible . Neither me or my partner could even bite through it ... the coating fell off by touching it, and the flavour of the batter was not good. The tandoori chicken was juicy, but the flavours aren't anything special , tikka masala was also just OK. Won't be coming back and a waste of money.

Beautiful and modern restaurant in the heart of Bryne! Friday evening on our way to Stavanger we had dinner. Beautiful and modern restaurant with a live kitchen - we loved watching the food being prepared fresh. The chef even made a special thali for us it was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced. The restaurant is clean, calm, and very welcoming. Service was kind and fast.
