Disappointing Experience at Cohibar

I’m writing this review to share the unpleasant experience we had during our visit to Cohibar. It was our first time at this hotel and bar, and unfortunately, it left us with a bad impression due to the way an incident was handled by their security staff.

During our visit, a man approached me and asked if I was “free tonight,” which was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. When I informed my husband, he approached the security staff to address the issue. However, instead of handling the situation professionally, the security guard started shouting—at me as a woman and at my husband—escalating the situation unnecessarily and causing a scene.

The focus should have been on dealing with the man who initiated the inappropriate behavior, but instead, we were subjected to poor treatment and unprofessional conduct. It was shocking and deeply disappointing to witness such behavior from the security staff, who are supposed to maintain order and ensure guests feel safe.

Cohibar management, I strongly urge you to provide your security personnel with proper training on how to handle such incidents. They need to learn how to approach situations professionally, de-escalate conflicts, and maintain a respectful demeanor toward all guests.
