The Irishman — Restaurant in Muscat

I recently visited The Ireshman, and it was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The music selection was also fantastic, adding a lively vibe to the place. They offer a range of activities including a pool table, chess, and darts, making it a great spot for those looking to have some fun.However, one major downside was the volume of the music. It was so loud that it was difficult to relax and have a conversation with the people around me. Service is great. I love the fact that there are covered sitting areas for privacy.

I ordered the slow cooked beef shortrib with the mash which was totally out of this world. The mash was the most delicious mash I've ever eaten.

Sadly, the burger, which was blue cheese burger really fell short both visually and gastronomically. The patty was under seasoned. You didn't taste the blue cheese at all, it was barely visible in fact. This was a dish that could have burst in flavour with the right seasoning and a good strong blue cheese, but didn't.

As with most of the restaurants and pubs serving alcohol in Muscat, it was on the pricy side.

Will I go again? Yes I will, there is a duck dish I can't wait to try...

Never ever been treated with this degrade in my entire dining experience… the waiter shouting saying “ ARE YOU Dehumanizing Me “ when I humbly asked him to please attend our table since its been too long since i requested him personally. Unfortunately the service is the worst i ever seen precisely from the Nigerian waiter!!!! worst aggressive attitude !!!! And as others said “ Its not his first time to cause trouble!!! . I heard about their good food but the service made the place not worth to visit even though it wasnt crowded….. i asked for the manager and they sent me someone who i knew him personally! his not qualified for the position ! not even knowing how to deal with the whole situation.
