I went to Del Frio Gulshan for iftar this past weekend. They have a complimentary iftar platter and drinks offer going on when buying two main courses, so we decided to get that and placed the order at around 6:20. When it was time for iftar at 6:50, we were only served the iftar platter and drinks. The platter was subpar, the fried items were tasteless and the chollay didnโt seem fresh at all. We let it go since it was complimentary.
After iftar, it took another 10 mins for our food to be served and when it came it was cold. But we let it go again as it was a busy time and the place was full so itโs understandable that they might not be able to serve everyone equally well. We ordered a Tarragon Chicken and a Chicken Lasagna. I had been craving lasagna for a few weeks now and decided to go for it thinking it will be good. But it turned out to be a big mistake. The worst lasagna Iโve had in my life. The sauce was extremely sour and the lasagna tasted horrible overall. I couldnโt have more than 2 bites. I would rate it a sold -5/10. Even the lasagna you get at local pizza shops like California Pizza etc way better than this. The Tarragaon Chicken was significantly better but was still way worse than the one served at other restaurants. The Tarragon sauce didnโt taste like tarragon sauce at all. I would give it a 4/10.
We then ordered a lava cake with french vanilla ice-cream which I usually love. Our dessert took another 30 mins to arrive and the lava cake was again, cold. It was overcooked as well and didnโt ooze out any lava. The taste however was good so 7/10.
If you want to go to Del Frio for dessert then do so but I would thoroughly recommend anyone who wants to go there for a meal to think twice. The food at the Gulshan branch is extremely subpar. Lounging: Good place for all sizes of groups. However, they need to figure out solo visitors' seating arrangements. It's not wise to remind a person that they can't hoard a two-seat space.
They need to add more small table-chair pairs for single customers. Accommodating space according to customer demands & availability is a reasonable act ๐ฅบ
Meal: Food at the right temperature matters a lot & decisive in its taste. The main course (chicken tarragon) was not up to the mark. It was cold when it should have been hot. ๐
Beverage: The flavor was good but the drink (caramel frappe) didn't come with food that was specifically mentioned at the time of order. It was served at the right temperature though & the taste was fine ๐

Mushroom Beef Burger has a smelly patty with only 2-3 small pieces of Mushroom. The bun crust was too hard. Tasteless Burger. I had to left it
Grilled Chicken Sandwich - There was no sign of Grilled in chicken. Just one slice of Bread with some rotten chicken piece half cooked. My wife had to left it as well
Strawberry Lemonade - It was just a Strawberry Syrup with Water and ice. No sign of lemon. Also they served it with unstirred. Tasteless
PinaColada - No sign of coconut ๐ฅฅ in that. Just a plain milkshake.
Staff was less hygiene and sneaking everywhere. Disgusting attitude.
The Final bill has no Invoice Number or QR code to verify the Invoice.
When I asked the manager, he was literally shivering and told our system for invoicing is a separate one ans it is not working. We only produce QR code invoices on demand. Also they are charging 15% on cards.
