Terrible service, ambience, and environment all together.
This was my second experience at a second chance for the restaurant. They were horribly understaffed and it took them far over 40 minutes to take our order.(they didn’t even take the order) had to call multiple times.
There were fumes from burning onions and spices in the air that were constantly irritating our eyes to the point of tears. There was no ventilation. Our eyes were red, our noses were burning and it was heating up. It felt like hell.
The manager/floor supervisor was extremely rude and unfriendly and kept on saying 2 minutes adamantly and delaying the order taking process. It clearly did not take 2 minutes and a little honesty would have done them well. I don’t know if they want people to come to their restaurant. Their attitude did not display any hospitality. It is disgusting. The worst I’ve ever seen. The waiters were talking to each other but not taking our order even though we let them know we are waiting for them to simply take an order. Ridiculous. Worst experience at a restaurant in my life.
Really disappointed with the experience. We went on a Sunday around 8pm.
Fortunately the valet was reliable so we could leave immediately. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you wish your...
Read moreWent there for their hotpot.
The spicy broth was fine, you can adjust how spicy you want it.
The beef, crabsticks, enoki mushrooms, tofu, homemade noodles and chicken dumplings were fine. Bean sprouts and chicken balls were frozen. Chicken balls were pretty bad, couldn't get past the first one. Pakchoi was not fresh. Potato, well, is potato. One of the few places that serve rice with a hotpot, which is good. Service was good.
Overall an average hotpot place, nothing special. Unfortunately, had a dodgy tummy after eating here so I suspect something was off.
When we arrived at the restaurant, we learned that the menu prices were not the same as what is on their Instagram page - they were significantly higher. This is very unprofessional as it's deliberately misleading.
Bill for persons was 23k. Their pricing is extortionate, especially when you consider the average quality of food and ok-ish decor/atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the Instagram posts, the place doesn't quite look or feel the same.
Hotpots in Pakistan are designed to rip you off as you have to order many many small dishes which are individually priced high. You can easily rack up a high bill if you are...
Read moreI went for the hotpot. Its not entirely wheelchair accessible but there is an elevator for the roof and a ground floor. We sat in the basement that also have private rooms. Lovely presentation, and the usual ingredients are all there - each about Rs. 500 more than the other places. Their spicy broth had no flavour though, so it all went to waste. I even told the server that it was just spicy but without any flavour, and they didn’t really know what to do about it. Even after adding clear broth as one does later on, there was just no taste at all. My party was thoroughly disappointed. This is a pretty place, but its hollow. Don’t think I’ll ever go back except maybe to try the KBBQ. I love hotpot so I’ll stick to the classics instead. I want to give 2 stars because the taste sucked, but we did get good service - despite them being so kanjoos about adding the...
