The Tikka Platter at Mangal Arabian Kitchen is a masterclass in grilled perfection, featuring tender, flavor-packed meats that keep you coming back for more. The Shish Tawook kebabs shine with their garlicky, citrus-marinated juiciness and just the right amount of smoky char. The chicken tikka delivers a punch of aromatic spices, with each piece grilled to succulent perfection. But the star is the rotisserie chicken breast—unbelievably moist, seasoned with a secret blend of herbs, and slow-roasted until it's fall-apart tender. Served with grilled vegetables and warm flatbreads, the platter lets the quality of the meats take center stage. Creamy garlic sauce and zesty tahini on the side add the perfect finishing touch, enhancing every bite without overpowering the natural flavors. The restaurant's inviting atmosphere—cozy yet lively—makes it a great spot for gatherings or a satisfying solo meal. The service is friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless dining experience. For the generous portions and bold flavors, the platter is a steal. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Pro tip: Try it with their mint lemonade for a refreshing contrast to the smoky meats. 🔥 #GrillLovers #MustTry

Before I go into the Shawarmas at Mangal, I'll say that Shawarmas are a mainstay in the middle east and one of easiest options, in say Saudi Arabia, was Shawarmer, which basically was the fast food version of the traditional shawarma. As I usually got a shawarma from either Shawarmer or Yamal Ashaam. I loved the western fast food fusion that Shawarmer bought to the humble Shawarmer, think of it as a more bland but normalised version of the shawarma. So imagine my surprise that since coming back to Pakistan my search for the ultimate shawarma (or the version nearest to Shawarmer) has been a dismal failure. There was supposed to be a restaurant on mm Alam Road that closed and the last I heard that Faletties is supposed to do a mean shawarma. Anyhow coming back to Mangal, the first time I came here I tried the Chicken shawarma and they got the bread right, they got the meat right, they got the fries right and they got the pickled veges right but the shawarma was swimming in sauce, so I went again today and asked they to lay off the heavy dose of sauce and smack me silly, but I think I've found Shawarmer in Lahore!

Mangal situated in the Emporium Mall Food court is a healthy option based on clean food. The freshness of Food is evident. The place has food for people affording around 350 per head food. The main dishes are like Arabic cuisine . You can try the chicken shawerma, Gyro or a lamb diner role if you are into roles and sandwiches. The sauces with it are based on Arabic taste. The staff is friendly and the food court is quite neat. The main basics of this place is based on freshness and cleanliness in an affordable price. You can have chicken, beef or lamb option. The chicken options are more then the lamb and beef options. They humus with neat as well.

The tender chicken, infused with aromatic spices and slow-cooked to perfection, offers a delightful culinary experience. The rice is fragrant and fluffy, complementing the succulent chicken beautifully. For Pakistani taste buds, the subdued spice levels allow the authentic flavors to shine through, making this Chicken Mandi a delightful choice for anyone seeking a delicious and less spicy Middle Eastern culinary adventure. The chicken in this Mandi is cooked to perfection, achieving a perfect balance of tenderness and flavor. The blend of spices used is subtle yet distinct, enhancing the taste of the chicken without overwhelming the palate. The rice in this Mandi is a testament to culinary expertise. Each grain is distinct, fluffy, and infused with the aromatic spices that elevate its taste. The flavors are well distributed, ensuring that every spoonful is a delightful journey through a symphony of tastes and textures. What sets this Mandi apart is its milder spice profile, making it an excellent choice for those who appreciate Middle Eastern cuisine but prefer a less fiery experience. The spices are carefully balanced, allowing the other ingredients to shine through. This makes it a perfect introduction to Mandi for individuals accustomed to less spicy fare, such as Pakistanis.
