"Goga Naqeeb Chanay" is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Lahore's Model Town, offering an unparalleled breakfast experience that tantalizes taste buds and leaves patrons craving for more. From the moment you step foot into this culinary haven, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly prepared chanay (chickpeas) mingling with the fragrant spices wafting from the kitchen.

The ambiance exudes warmth and hospitality, with traditional decor elements transporting diners to a bygone era of Lahore's rich culinary heritage. Whether you opt for a cozy indoor table or prefer the outdoor seating to soak in the bustling atmosphere of Model Town, each dining space offers a unique experience.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the chanay. Cooked to perfection in a secret blend of spices passed down through generations, each mouthful is a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate. Pair it with freshly baked naan or fluffy puris for a match made in breakfast heaven.

But Goga Naqeeb Chanay isn't just about the chanay – their extensive menu boasts an array of traditional breakfast delights, from halwa puri to parathas dripping with ghee, ensuring there's something to satisfy every craving.

What truly sets this establishment apart, however, is the impeccable service and attention to detail. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels like family, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.

In conclusion, Goga Naqeeb Chanay isn't just a place to eat – it's an experience that celebrates Lahore's culinary heritage with every bite. Whether you're a local looking for a taste of nostalgia or a visitor eager to explore the city's vibrant food scene, a visit to this beloved breakfast spot is an...

I have been listening to a lot of praise about this establishment, but I think it's overrated. By no means do I think it is bad, it is in fact good, but this same good taste can be found in a lot of other places.

The service was bad. We were 2 people, so we ordered a 1.5 litres water bottle, which came after 10 minutes without any cups. We ordered raita with our sada chane, but they didn't give us spoons. When we finished our initial order of naan, it took 15 minutes to bring one more. Then a second naan arrived a few minutes later. We had to repeatedly tell the waiter whenever we wanted something.

The sitting area is like your typical desi nashta place, and is kept clean. The first floor is pleasant to sit at, especially when the weather is good.

In conclusion, if you are in the area give this place a try. It is not something to travel a lot for.

Edit: The service on the first floor is bad, but on the ground floor it is instantaneous. Lassi is pretty average and the chicken in the murg chane adds nothing to the experience. Save yourself the money and order sada chane only. You are already paying a lot...

Well, I used to kind of love this place. We used to come here after our morning walks and head straight here to eat their chanai and that was one of the best nostalgic things I can ever think of. They were amazing… wow. Like, I’ve never tasted any chanai like those before.

But now, they’re just below average. I don’t know why, but when people get famous and get attention, they kind of change their taste and everything. They used to be really good, but after a couple of recent visits, I’ve been feeling disappointed.

I’ve realized it’s not just me my friends are in the same boat. They’ve also said it’s not the same thing anymore that we used to come here for. So yeah, I think that was the last time I’ll be going there. Time to look for a better place...

This traditional dish hailing from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, is a popular choice for breakfast and lunch among millions. It offers a variety of options, allowing you to enjoy chickpeas by themselves or with chicken, eggs, or chicken meatballs. If you plan to visit Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, it's a must-try dish highly recommended. However, a word of caution for travelers, especially from Europe, the UK, Canada, Australia, and the US: it contains a significant amount of red chili, which can lead to digestive discomfort, and it's cooked in hydrogenated oil, which is high in trans and saturated fats. It's best to savor this dish in small quantities to experience its unique flavors while in Lahore, where a love for red chili prevails!
