Gourmet Restaurant — Restaurant in Model Town Tehsil

Nobody picked up the phone number given for take away. However, on visiting and complaining, they delivered food within 12 minutes. The food was well cooked, so 3 stars, Service not so good.

Forgot about the prior experience, called them and the phone was picked and put on hold. Finally managed to get through, and was first told to pick up in 20 minutes and next second to come in around 30 minutes.

Got there in around 30 minutes and the food was not ready, nor did they have any clue about where it was. Had parked my car, blocking someone and told the parking attendant just parking to pick up food. The guy told me to wait inside, while they tracked the food down. Had to wait for 30 minutes more for the food to get ready and handing over.

On complaining about delay (guests waiting at home) was told that, I should take the number of the Manager and call him directly next time. Now WHY should anyone get good treatment, when he / she complains. Why don't the people (shopkeepers, bankers, etc.) give good service to the nice people, who obey all the rules.

Writing this review to highlight the awful pathetic service of gourmet restaurant johar town branch. And its horrible management headed by Mr Imran. We ordered 2 stuffed chickens out of which one was fine, other was undercooked. The undercooked one was sent back only to receive it later in even tough texture. It was pointed out to the management and mr Imran standing there was absolutely blank and dumbfounded. He was neither apologetic nor understanding of the situation. Later he started misbehaving with us. One of the servers spilled coke while serving food and interestingly he wasnt apologetic either. Question is- whatever happened to the management of Gourmet restaurant. This was suppose to be a good hangout place for years..why would you hire ppl like Mr Imran and ruin your reputation. I visited this place for a family Dinner thinking that A brand. But I really disappointed. Rightv after entrance they ask me to go at 3rd floor . I rushed to lift and what I see Lift is out of order (attached Picture). I had two female one senior citizen and other with medical issue. It was tough but I do it. Orders two dishes and one BAR B Q. Mean while walked to washroom . Believe Muslim shower was resting at the floor . And one handle of Bason was broken .I came back to my table.Raita price was 175 for one little bowl. chicken handi 400 Gram was worth 1850 without taste. The Other chicken dish was also not UpTo the Mark. Staff was Cooperative. I also lodge complaint in their Complaint TAb. And they called me next day and apologize for inconvenience.
