This is the main Kebab Shop among the many with the same name in this market. This restaurant is the best, as it not only serves the authentic unique beef Kebabs, but also has most appropriate dining space. The kitchen is on the other side of the road, while the seating area has been set up in a dedicated walled space. The beef Kebabs are the core menu item, they are small in size and ideal serving is one plate containing a dozen kebabs per person. The other most recommended item are the beef Tikka, which are quite spicy, but are by far the best you will find across restaurants in the city. The Beef Kebabs are priced economically, however the beef tikka is a bit in the pricier side. The kebabs taste best with the Paratha hence would recommend to order more of those than the naan. The beef kebabs are served with complimentary tamarind sauce, while salad and other sauces are charged separately. All food is served in old fashioned steel plates. Seating is basic with plastic furniture, yet it is pretty comfortable. The seating area is huge and can accommodate really large group easily. The place is outdoors, yet covered, while they have fans for summer time. There is a wash basin and liquid hand soap for washing hands with paper towels for drying. The place is extremely noisy though as it’s always very busy. The option of car dining is also available. The service is fast especially given the large number of customers. The staff are really helpful and polite. This has to be a part of your Lahore cuisine experience, primarily for the famous beef kebabs. Free street Parking is available though slightly difficult to find during peak hours. The restaurant is easily wheel chair accessible as it’s on the ground floor. This is a meat based restaurant hence not many vegetarian options are available. The restaurant is kid friendly space. Highly...
Read moreIt was back in 1984 when Siddique Bhai used to make keebabs after Isha outside his house on a small grill and we used to have them with dinner.as we lived in same street...than he progressed from small buttlery to this huge setup that is in place...The main ingredient was the unique and fresh taste of his keebab and camel meat It was sad to learn he passed away and so is the taste and quality which made Siddique Bhai to Jigar keebab to Siddique Bhai BBQ TODAY IN over past 4 decades.. It wasn't the same taste but above that it was the smelly meat they used may be to give me the signal to stop eating bhaiya keebab....so it's a farewell and prayer for Siddique Bhai journey ahead. I know none of his family is literate enough to read this and understand the pain but it's what I felt ...the first plate delivered was almost raw and watery so after complaint they changed it but really...
Read moreOh my Goodness. This dhaaba style desi food resturant is charging more than a good fine dining restaurant, top tier beef burger restaurants, world known beef nehari places and you just name it. Value of money is absolutely ZERO ‘0’ Food quality is just very average, ambiance is below average, meals are extremely expensive, they even charge heavy for Raita and chatni which I didn’t order but yet they served it .
Overall food experience is very bad I would say.
Advice to management: Lower down prices of products as its not a fine dining resturant. Don’t charge for things that are not ordered. e.g Raita, Chatni etc Maintain the hygiene. 2/3 of us got diarrhoea after eating it. I mean it.
Advice for foodies: Go to Heera charga or Pyara Chargha for the best BBQ which bring value of money. SKS is not what it was...
