With the unique taste, business formula and fair price deal, Savour has more then three decades to be in bussines. Once in 1990s it was started, it became popular among students due to fair price and unlimited rice, raita and salads. Savour Foods improved the quality by adding modern cooking gadgets in kitchen and maintain much better hygiene despite bulk cooking, not an ideally claimed as mega kitchens but the concept was employed in Savour at much small scale. With introduction of fast food and ice cream, savour as business has achieved another peak. However, with variety focus of Savour has distributed. Hence, standard of Pulao and chicken pieces have declined. Presently, the original taste of Savour Food. I am customer of Savour since it was established, I have seen savour struggling against Student Pulao (pioneer in introducing Chicken Pulao Kebab in Rawalpindi) but later Savour survived and become Symbol of Rawalpindi. Now one of the introduction of Rawalpindi is Savour". Savour New look is good but limited rice, small shami kebab and low quality rice. Likewise, providing choice piece is charged activity but size is too small. This decline of standard will definitely destroys the reputation and business. Being expensive Savour has started loosing their business specially to Bannu Beef Pulao. 14 Dec 2024: another visit at Gordon College Branch and seeing Savour loosing standards was heart aching. Wish owners may recall the business formula when they started and they survived and their competition and original introducing brand "Student Murgh Pulao" went out of business. Maj difference then and now: Chicken piece 250 gms approx then and now aprox 100 gms. Too less a size. Rice quality is changed rice taste has drastically changed due to cheap and new rice. Its new pulao not savour branded flavour. Then unlimited rice but now a small plate as refil. Then yogurt and salad was also unlimited and free although small servings of onion and reddish very simple salads. Now plate full of cabbage and few pieces of other veggies with no refill. Second serving being charged. Service is fast but plates are being served in manner that they stay in plates in kitchen for long so get cold before serving. Need to ensure early serving once dishes out. Last but not least I cannot recall price once it started but I think it was 10 or 12 Rupees but now Rs 505 for...
