Blue Whale Cafe and Lounge — Restaurant in Zone 1

Visited blue whale cafe, the entrance was quite unwelcoming, with a narrow, small door that was difficult to find. The minimal visibility of the entrance made it seem rather shady. Upon entering, the café is located in a basement with a water theme interior. While the ambiance is decent for taking pictures, it doesn't make up for other shortcomings.

Foor food ordered Nachos in starters, that were a major letdown. Instead of Doritos, they used simple handmade papri. The filling was sparse, with only a few hard-to-find chunks of chicken. The lack of adequate sauce made the nachos very dry. Also the food was not at all for value for the money, taste was not at all for the amount they are charging for.

For the main dish ordered steaks, which were not juicy and were quite hard, which significantly detracted from the dining experience.

Also ordered mint margarita, which was seemed to be made with tap water and blended mint, lacking any fizz or flavor depth.

Overall Experience was below average, making the place not worth a second visit or recommendation. Additionally, the atmosphere did not feel suitable for a family outing/gathering as well.

First of all, you can reach here for the first time only with the help of maps, otherwise no clear sign/name boards are mentioned. Parking is quite well Entrance and overall atmosphere is remarkable After entry you will feel, its Just a perfect place to come and have fun. After sometime you will realise how pathetic hygeine issues are. Seats are not clean, tabled are rough. Absolutely dirty and broken washrooms. No maintenance of furniture and washrooms. Staff is not trained to get orders and giving you urgent feedback. Food serving time is minimum 50 minutes. Even food quality is Just average. Cleanliness issues are also present in food. One small hair was wrapped in chicken cheese balls. And After informing the staff, No action was taken nor any compensation was given. Not even an excuse. Interestingly Please carry the cash or have bank transfer, they dont have facility of card deductions. Really a worst place to go. If u really want to spoil ur day and ur occasion as like us, then u can certainly choose this restaurant. Don't fall for their free decor l, as the place is not worth it and so as the decor which honestly is very outdated. Cant say much about their food as nothing was available when we tried ordering food. Half of the menu items were run out and the waiter was find this funny as he was laughing and telling us not available. Restaurant is a so called sea themed one nd they had no sea food no prawns fish etc. even had no beef steaks available. Already they had a very limited menu and then even most of the major items were not there. Seriously pathetic. Highly uncomfortable sitting, didn’t even had good air conditioning.
