Came all the way from Australia to celebrate our anniversary and decided to give this place a go.
Firstly, food quality and taste were goo, no complaints there. However, our overall experience was severely disappointing, and I regret choosing this place.
We were seated outside because the inside was fully reserved. While initially fine, the issues started when we were sandwiched between two groups of disrespectful men. The group on our left began indirectly harassing us, dragging their table closer to ours until there was barely any space (less than 30 cm). This made my wife (foreinger to Pakistan) incredibly uncomfortable, and she lost her appetite. To make matters worse, the management then seated another group of men on our right, leaving us with no privacy or sense of safety. Itâs basic common sense to ensure crowd filtration and not seat groups of men around families or couples, especially when inappropriate behavior is involved.
Mr. Shams, who served us, was the saving grace of the evening. He was attentive, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. He even addressed the staff to make our anniversary dinner special. Unfortunately, even his exceptional service couldnât salvage the night.
When I asked for the bill because we couldnât bear to stay any longer, the staff apologized but offered no resolution other than, âIt wonât happen next time.â Next time mate? Our anniversary dinner was already ruined, and we were still expected to pay for the entire bill that we had hardly eaten?
This was a complete failure on the managementâs part, who instead of taking responsibility, blamed each other. This is unacceptable, especially given how Iâd raved about this restaurant after a great visit in September with friends. I was excited to bring my wife here, only for her to leave with a horrible impression.
10/10 to Mr. Shams for his service, but management and the rest of the staff? A resounding -10. We wonât be returning here! If youâre planning a visit, think twiceâthis is clearly not a family-friendly...
Read moreI recently had the misfortune of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. It is shocking that such an establishment is even allowed to operate in a city like Islamabad.
The food served here is nothing short of a health hazard. The meat had a foul smell, clearly indicating that it was rotten or at the very least, stale. Instead of the fresh and flavorful meal one expects at a restaurant, I was served something completely inedible. The taste was disgusting, and I wouldnât be surprised if people ended up with food poisoning after eating here.
Cleanliness is clearly not a priority for this restaurant. The plates and cutlery were dirty, with visible stains and leftover food particles from previous use. The glasses had an oily film on them, making it clear that they hadnât been washed properly. The overall environment was unhygienic, with dust and grime visible on the tables and floors.
The service was equally pathetic. The staff was not only untrained but also extremely rude. Instead of addressing concerns politely, they responded with arrogance and complete disregard for customer service. Asking for basic things like clean cutlery or fresh food seemed like an offense to them. Their attitude was highly unprofessional, making the entire experience even worse.
Forget about enjoying a peaceful meal; the ambiance was terrible. The place was noisy, poorly lit, and had an unpleasant odor lingering in the air. There was no effort to create a welcoming environment for customers.
This restaurant is a disgrace to Islamabadâs dining scene. Rotten food, dirty crockery, ill-mannered staff, and an unclean environment make it the worst place to eat. I strongly urge everyone to stay away from this disaster of a restaurant unless you want to risk your health and waste your money. Authorities should take serious action against such establishments before they cause serious harm to unsuspecting customers.

Read moreVisited this place on my last day trip to Pakistan , located on the fifth floor of the building, serving below average food, over priced menu, for boiled food prepared, We ordered bunch of different dishes, to start with, got beef tikka skewers, 4 skewers has only 4 bite size meat per skewers and price was 2500 rupees, so we ordered two set for eight skewers, costed 5000 rupees. meat was wrapped in lamb fat and taste was below average Afghan food.
Second dish was chicken sheikh kebab, it was undercooked, seemed like thick meat kebab because it was kind of raw inside. Cost around 1900 rupees not worth it.
Afghan kabuki lamb pulao was miserably copied filled with carrots and raisins, meat had no taste. Rice seemed boiled and not cooked properly had watery taste. Cost 2500 per dish not worth at all.
Next dish ordered was lamb karahi which costed around 5000 rupees, karahi meat was soft but actually tasted a bit chewy, seemed like pre cooked and served as it was made fresh.
Also ordered beef Chapli kebab, this was the only dish which tasted good, moist and juicy kabobs were really nice. Fresh naan were also great, green chutney was also good. Kebab costed 2300 rupees for 4 kabobs, seemed over prices as you can get one kg for around 1k to 1500 rupees from outside authentic shops.
Lastly like to mention green chutney which costed 395 per serving, not even enough for one person and itâs not added with barbeque dishes, if the price after kebabs are of the dishes are so high it should be offered for free.
Overall, not happy or impressed With food quality, and atmosphere as it was so loud and noisy inside the restaurant. Probably one can get better services and food from authentic Afghan food cuisine in Islamabad. Costed 30 K for the food for 8 people. Below average food and overpriced menu with the loud and...
