Heard about this place from a lot of people. There are a few things I'd like you to consider if planning to eat here. The ambiance is warm, not restaurant-like. It looks more like a dining area of a guest-house, since the restaurant is based in a house. It's quite overly priced. Do not expect a desi-chinese flavour as they use the authentic Chinese herbs and spices to bring out more authentic flavours. It might be a miss for you if you are familiar with the food served in other eateries. The staff is extremely ill-informed about the menu. When my friend and I asked about a few dishes we were interested to eat, two of the waiters who came to take the order did not know and had to call the third one, as the menu did not have any additional information on the flavours or spice-level of the dish as it should. Staff is quite not interested to serve you well either. We had to call them over and over again to get us things. No card payment option and it's a hand-written bill, which shows that it isn't a registered business. If they are charging you GST, please do not pay that. I liked the dumplings. Other two dishes we ordered from chicken and beef section were fine. But if I have to go back I'd definitely have dumplings. (one star for that). It has quite a wide-range of menu. Also a separate vegetarian section unlike most of the eateries. (one...

We had to ask for napkins and the staff was talking loud while guests are sitting.
Food was ok but didn’t justify the price we paid. Secondly bill was presented to us in Chinese nor it made any sense. The waiter couldn’t explain the change in prices to us.
We believe we paid extra or we were scammed. 😡
We ordered two dishes. Pictures attached. Chicken was for 3200 and noodles 980. Prices they charged are high. Secondly they charge service charges not mentioned on the menu 😉.
Their are better places in the city with similar or better food and correct charging. I don’t think they even pay GST to government. On query one staff member told me that our tips are not handed over...
Read moreFor just over $60 we handed over two $50 bills, and the restaurant refused and said it would only accept $100. As much as their reputation, they should be prepared for the convenience of foreigners and have transparent management.
The type, number, and food of the menu are all great, but the price of the food is that high must notify the menu in advance that card payment is unavailable. If it's Pakistani cash or dollars, please tell me why only accept it in 100-dollar bills. Do you need a service charge for this...
