I've both dined here twice and had home delivery from here twice, so I'd like to think I've given this place a fair shot! Suki Sushi is definitely a mixed bag. The sushi quality varies with each visit. Last week I had Crab Maki which was so dry I had difficulty eating it. I also ordered an Udon noodle dish which actually turned out to be regular noodles like what you get in Chowmein, not the thick, chewy udon noodle texture I'd been craving. The first time I dined here in March, my order took 40 minutes to arrive at my table, as they had a very large takeaway order to prepare for someone else. They then rushed my sushi and must've skipped some steps as I ended up with food poisining just hours later...and this was the only thing I'd eaten that day!
Now I'm definitely not one of those people who rate a food establishment or a dish based upon the portion sizes, but the Salmon cream cheese maki roll I just received was tiny (though excellent). It was like a miniature version of a regular Maki roll and I'm just grateful I ordered more food as this wouldn't even work as a starter. Speaking of which, the Vegetable Spring rolls I ordered were inedible (far too salty, somewhat burnt on the outside and stale filling). Literally had to spit it out! The 'jajangmyeon' dish looked good but the smell of stale meat hit my nose as soon as I opened the lid. It didn't taste all that great either, Korean food usually packs a lot of flavour, this was almost like a desi beef stew with noodles. About as appetizing as it sounds! The one thing I did love and have ordered twice from here is the 'Ear Mushroom Salad'. If you want to try something different then this is definitely worth a shot: unique texture, tangy and aromatic. Oh and the 'Bubur IInjin' dessert is also different and worth trying.
My suggestion to management: as one of only two or three sushi places in Islamabad, you guys should really up your game as you have a monopoly over the market. Instead of trying to cram a hundred dishes into your menu, scale it down and give people a smaller selection of authentic, fresh food. And please train your staff to not patronize the customer and make up excuses for shortcomings...it's the worst thing you can do if a customer does not recieve what they ordered.
I'm going with an 'average' rating as two of the four dishes I had delivered are headed for the dustbin. At the same time the other two dishes were excellent. Considering this was a Rs 5300 order, that's a lot of food gone to waste! Seriously guys, get...

Absolutely loved my visit to Suki Sushi! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The interiors are clean, modern, and the lighting sets a perfect mood whether you’re dining with friends or enjoying a solo sushi fix.
I’ve uploaded photos and videos of everything I tried — and trust me, it was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds! 🍣 The Dragon Roll and Spicy Tuna Maki were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The miso soup was comforting, and the edamame was the perfect starter. Service was attentive and quick staff were polite and genuinely passionate about what they serve.
If you’re looking for high-quality sushi with great presentation and a peaceful dine-in vibe, Suki Sushi is worth it. Also noticed they’ve got solid options for vegetarians, which is a big plus!
Will definitely be back highly recommend checking it out. 👍

Read moreI ordered crispy colifornia maki and absolutely loved it. Beef dolsot bibimbap was okay, I have definitely had better bibimbaps before. Also, the whole point of dolsot bibimbap is that crispy rice at the end which I love but this dish had none :( . I didn't like tteokbokki's taste at all. Ive had it many times before with noodles "robokki", but it was so bad. The texture and taste or tteokbokki was was not good and not the good kind of chewy, i felt like it was not made from sticky rice flour but rather simple rice flour available in the market? idk? but the taste of the sauce was also so bad, it should be a good balance of sweet and spicy but it just didn't feel right. I returned it after just a bite. As for the BBQ, it was good.
I have to say the staff is very nice, they even brought ice cream for us because we sent tteokbokki back. That was very kind of them. Service was quick also. 5 stars for service.
Will I visit suki sushi again?...
