Tempteation Cafe — Restaurant in Zone 1

Decided to visit Temptation Cafe after seeing numerous videos on social media and wanted to check if the hype was justified. Upon entering, the first impression wasn’t great, the sitting area inside the restaurant felt cramped, and the tables and chairs were unbalanced and uncomfortable.

We started with the loaded fries as a starter, which were average in taste and were bit spicy. For the main course, we ordered the Tarragon Steak, Mushroom Steak, and a Blue Colada. The drink was refreshing and flavorful.

However, the steaks were disappointing, they were very dry and lacked sauces. We requested some additional sauce, which they provided later. The real surprise came when we received the bill ,they charged Rs. 500 for the extra sauce, something most other places offer complimentary. This felt like a tactic to earn extra, which left a bad impression.

Additionally, the prices are on the higher side. There are plenty of other options in I-8 offering similar menus at more reasonable prices.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience here and I’ll never trust blogger recommendations again. TempTeation Cafe delivered both poor service and subpar food. I would have given negative rating if that was allowed. Here’s what went wrong:

Eggs Benedict: We asked for turkey bacon but got spoiled salmon with an unpleasantly smelling egg. To make it worse, it wasn’t even served on an English muffin, though the server insisted it was. Croissant with Chicken & Cheese: Instead of the dish we ordered, we were given a croissant with scrambled eggs. When we pointed this out, the server argued it was still chicken and cheese, only admitting the mistake after saying, “But it has cheese.” French Toast: This unappetizing dish was priced almost double in the breakfast menu compared to the dessert section, and to top it off, it arrived before our actual breakfast. Cold Coffee and Café Latte: Both were mediocre at best.
