Texas Steak House — Restaurant in Zone 1

The steak was actually pretty good I had a beef medium to well-done steak 🥩 with mushroom sauce. And my friend had a chicken steak I can't remember which one though. It was him who recommended we come here because he had a pleasant experience with his family here.

It's a Good place the food was decent and the the service was good as well plus, we didn't have to wait at all for our food it was quick.

However, The place is actually not that open (no open sky dining) especially during this pandemic you'd want to eat in an open environment and they don't even have a terrace. And the inside environment can feel pretty much cramped even if there are around 6-8 family's sitting and dining together on a single floor (I only saw two floors I don't think there is a third). The lightning in the place is very warm I mean literally the inside is pretty much yellowish because of the lightning.

There not much bad to say about this place it offers a decent food, a quick service and a good enough environment to sit and eat in. I will say though when we went there there were around 3-4 family's dining during that specific time around 6-7pm and it did feel like if there were 2 more we'd have to move out because the place would not have been well ventilated for everyone. The upper portion relies on air-conditioners for the ventilation I hardly saw...

We had the worst experience we could have ever imagine at Texas Steak house E7. The italian steak had nothing to do with the real deal. I'm not sure what kind of meat they serve there or how the person (who claims to be a chef) makes it. All I know is that the restaurant is a real ripoff. After having two bites from it we called the waitress to express how we felt about the dinner and couple of minutes later the manager(the most unprofessional, rude, and absolutely no class or costumer service what so ever) came to our table and I asked him this is steak is not at well done which I specifically ordered and looks even not grilled properly. They took it back and probably hammered it and grilled it again which made it worse. He again made another one and admitted that it wasn't a good meat cut. This time it was better looking steak but still no taste. I complained again. No apologies or a minimum desire to try to deal with the situation by finding a solution. Instead we were forced to pay for a meal that i couldn't eat. Even their nachos were like papri chaat.. what kind of steak house is this who doesn't even have Pepper...

The steak scene at this restaurant is one of the disappointing ones present in Islamabad. For one, they have very limited cuts of steak with a Sirloin being the only visible option for a proper, grilled steak of beef. I had ordered the steak medium rare, as they promised it was going to be tender as I had had this experience before with other unnamed restaurants. As I cut through the steak which seemed to be made of solid leather, it was a deep, dark colour of red, opposed to the pink colour that medium rare steaks are known for. Because of this I sent the steak back to get it cooked up to medium. As the steak got sent back, I took a bite out of it and the steak’s texture was no different to chewing gum. The beef steak scene is extremely disappointing in Islamabad. Other steak options included ordinary chicken steaks such as tarragon, pepper and mexican steaks. If you want this place to satisfy your thirst for tender beef, don’t consider visiting. Their other options however are quite decent.
