Read moreWe p(party of five) have had the misfortune of having dinner at Yum F-7 Islamabad on Monday 02 October 23. To begin with all the place matts were dirty and had to replaced. When they started putting the soup bowls on the table, those were dirty too and had to be replaced. It was not busy at all and everyone seemed very very uninterested. Finally, we placed our order of prawn tempura, spring rolls and thai soup for starters. The spring rolls looked re-heated but the other two items were fine. Half way thru our starters we could not get our napkins back which were taken away to change the dirty place matts. For mains, we ordered, beef chilli dry (major culprit), Chicken in garlic oil, sweet and sour fish and egg fried rice. The food was cold and the dishes were glazed. The beef was definitely off as the three of us whom had the beef are still sick after almost two days. The sweet and sour fish had pineapples as mains and fish as a side and tasted awfully sweet, The only good thing was the chicken in garlic oil. We did not get our two mint margaritas until towards the end of our meal after asking at least half a dozen time for them. Like i said everyone was completely disinterested and had those three chaps with suits on been to the tables to check how the customers were doing instead of chatting away at the small counter, things would have been different We have been violently sick and have lodged a complaint with the Islamabad food authority. We and the food establishment knows that nothing will come out of that complaint and they will continue to make people sick for their own benefit or for lack of having any systems. Shame on them and you must Stay clear...
Read moreYum Chinese and Thai is an absolute gem, and I'm so glad I found it. Its location is a huge plus—convenient and easy to get to, making it a perfect spot for a spontaneous dinner or a planned celebration.
The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The decor is tasteful and modern, striking a perfect balance between a relaxed and upscale feel. It’s the kind of place that’s great for a date night but equally suitable for a family outing, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger.
The food, however, is the real star of the show. I started with the Yum Special Soup, and it was a revelation—rich, flavorful, and packed with an incredible variety of ingredients. For the main course, the Chow Min was exceptional, perfectly cooked with a wonderful mix of textures and savory flavors.
The quality of the ingredients truly stands out. Beyond the classics, the Thai menu offers a diverse range of options that are just as impressive.
I had a fish dish that was cooked to perfection, showcasing the fresh, aromatic spices that are the hallmark of authentic Thai cuisine.
Every Thai dish I've tried has been a burst of flavor, from the perfectly balanced curries to the tangy stir-fries. The dedication to quality is evident in every single bite.
Overall, Yum Chinese and Thai has quickly become one of my favorite places. The combination of a great location, fantastic ambiance, and truly delicious food—from the comforting Yum Special Soup and Chow Min to the vibrant and flavorful Thai dishes—makes for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality meal in a...
