Had to drive into Panama City today. I saw this place with the Texas theme BBQ & being a little homesick for Texas brisket, we had to try. We were not disappointed. The brisket was very tender and juicy and the white bread was absolutely delicious. They put BBQ on the table but, that meat was good enough without it. My husband and I went on a Friday night, and although the wait time was a bit longer, it was absolutely worth it. The lentil soup was amazing, rich, flavorful, and comforting. We’re big fans, and this one was top-notch.

The brisket lasagna was another hidden gem, super tasty and perfectly balanced. The place was packed, and while the staff seemed a bit rushed, they still had a great attitude and were very friendly.

Visitamos BBQ Fellas en Plaza Centennial con muchas expectativas, atraídos por su ambiente informal y las buenas reseñas que habíamos escuchado. Pedimos varias cosas para compartir: unas alitas, una sopa de costilla, y una ensalada verde con tocino. Las alitas resultaron ser una decepción: estaban demasiado saladas, tanto que opacaban por completo el sabor del adobo o la salsa. Por otro lado, la sopa de costilla fue el punto más alto de la visita realmente deliciosa, con un sabor casero, bien sazonada y con buena cantidad de carne. La ensalada verde también estaba muy buena, fresca y con un toque de tocino que la hacía diferente. Sin embargo, se olvidaron de traerme la ensalada de repollo que había pedido para mi esposo. Otro punto negativo fue el jugo de piña, que llegó lleno de hielo; tuve que pedir otro sin hielo para poder disfrutarlo. Lo más preocupante fue que no tenían agua disponible, ni siquiera embotellada, porque según nos explicaron estaban teniendo problemas con el suministro. Esto genera dudas sobre cómo se lavan las manos o manipulan los alimentos en esas condiciones.
