La Sabrosa Libanesa — Restaurant in David

What a SURPRISE! 💚 My partner and I were looking online for a place with vegan or vegetarian options to go celebrate our nephew's birthday and this wonderful place came across! When I called to know more about the place and make the reservation, the owner told me that even though Baba Ganoush and Veggie Moussaka were not in the menu, they could make it for us and IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WORTHY! (IF YOU WANT THESE SPECIAL DISHES, YOU HAVE TO ORDER AT LEAST TWO DAYS BEFORE) We had such an amazing time all the food was delicious, the rest of the family who do eat meat, they also loved their choices. Prices are super affordable and the place is so cozy! Mr. Hassan and his son are such great hosts! I have tried Lebanese food before but this is THE BEST! I recommend this...

What a gem!! I am so glad I came upon this restaurant during my trip to David. The food was beyond delicious that I ate there 2 nights out of my 3 nights in town. My first meal was a chicken shawarma...the seasoning both on the shawarma itself and the fries was unbelievable, not to mention the garlic sauce. So much of a flavor punch, but not too overwhelming. That is a hard task to accomplish and they did it perfectly. My second meal was the kafta...absolutely divine. And let's not forget the hummus...such creaminess. I have not stopped thinking about this restaurant and the food ;-)

The owner was such a delight to converse with. He informed me that the restaurant had only been opened for 7 months. Dinner at La Sabrosa Libanesa is already on the itinerary for my next trip to the Chiriqui area. Please give this place a try and keep this wonderful family in business making quality food. Highly, highly recommended!!!

Qué joya!! Estoy muy contento de haber encontrado este restaurante durante mi viaje a David. La comida era más que deliciosa y comí allí 2 noches de mis 3 noches en la ciudad. Mi primera comida fue un shawarma de pollo...el condimento tanto del shawarma como de las papas fritas fue increíble, sin mencionar la salsa de ajo. Tiene mucho sabor, pero no demasiado abrumador. Es una tarea difícil de lograr y lo hicieron perfectamente. Mi segunda comida fue el kafta...absolutamente divino. Y no olvidemos el hummus...qué cremosidad. No he dejado de pensar en este restaurante y en su comida ;-)

Fue un placer conversar con el propietario. Me informó que el restaurante solo llevaba abierto 7 meses. Authentic Lebanese restaurant, close to Terronal mall, serving typical dishes on wood boards. We enjoyed a pita sandwich of chicken shawarma and one of falafel, each came with it's own side dishes, a natural lemonade and we shared a tabouleh salad. Top marks for presentation and flavor; it reminded me of the excitement I felt tasting Lebanese cuisine for the first time at a friend's house. The decor was basic, plastic tables and chairs and a video of a piano performance a little distracting. It will feature as a new lunch break for us during our day long shopping...
