What a find. Very small (4 tables) open air restaurant in front of a very small kitchen. This is above a small sari-sari store after about 3km down a dirt road. The one person there is the owner, cook, server, busboy and cleanup crew. The menu is on a chalk board, although they claim to offer burgers and fries, but why would you want that? Mediterranean food with a killer view halfways up the mountain above Boquete. We had a tomato and cucumber salad, tabouleah, hummus, flalfels, chicken kabobs and flatbread. The hummus was smooth and delicious. The chicken was lightly spiced and cooked to perfection, done through and still moist. Everything was very fresh. Portion sizes were good and the price was very reasonable. The location is going to keep too many people from going there which is fine with me.

My wife is vegan and I brought her here for her birthday and it was absolute perfection! Food and service were impeccable. Falafel, tabouleh, babaganoush, dolmas, hummus… and that bread! Wow. Everything was amazing. I also got some chicken shishkabob and beef something or others that were straight up meat candy. Ofir was super friendly and really made our evening fantastic. I should’ve tipped him more! We’ll have to go back soon. I owe him.

We ate the lamb meal for 2-3 people and it was fantastic! The hummus is the best I’ve ever had. The lamb was fork tender. The eggplant and vegetables were perfection. The oven roasted pita was excellent. Beautiful rustic ambience under a tin roof while it rained with exotic birds below chattering in the background. Super nice owner who is a fantastic chef!

Do call ahead of time if you can… especially in the slow season. We had such a great time eating here and talking with Ofir(?)the owner. It’s just a shack on the side of the street with a very small mini super below and a few tables upstairs. He set out a huge spread of everything for us… all Vegan! We had no idea what to expect and the food just kept coming and coming:). We paid $30 for all…. Babaganoush, Falafel, fresh baked pita, hummus, salads, grape leave rice wraps, tomatoes and cuyes …. What else…?!!! And after the taxi ride up, we walked down the pedestrian stairs back to town. Best you check out the pedestrian walk way before you try it at night. Although it is lit quite well, the first part at the very top is a “road”and you do need to know where it joins Jaramillo Road, and it is not lit as well at night.Have a...

We had a wonderful dinner — though the owner/chef was not expecting us (note that Google reservation doesn’t work) he pulled together a wonderful meal just for us, including a pizza for the kids. The ambiance is rustic, on the side of a small road above a small market. The food was excellent and authentic, homemade with imported ingredients - particularly delicious fresh baked pita bread with zatar. The owner was kind. Would recommend it if you are up for something unique in...
