My husband and I stayed here from Tues 2/8 - Fri 2/11. It's such a convenient location. It's on the same side of the Caldera River as the Tuesday Markets, and just a short walk to Boquete town center.||||The hotel offers laundry service, for $6.50 we washed the equivalent of a 13 gal garbage bag of shorts, shirts, panties and socks. Took only a day. ||||Breakfast was included and excellent, huevos rancheros con jamon, coffee, and hojaldres or toast. The staff knew some English and we knew some Spanish so it worked. Breakfast officially began at 8 am, though you could stop in for coffee earlier. On our last day, the bus to Bocas del Toro was picking us up at 8 so the staff made sure we had coffee and breakfast sandwiches ready to go before our 3.5 hr trip. It was very nice of them.||||The affiliated restaurant, Mesa Azul was fantastic, I recommend stopping in and making a reservation, though we didn't the first night and were still accommodated. ||||Melba at the front desk was very helpful and Alexendra and all of the staff at both restaurants were friendly and attentive. ||||This is a great place for couples, groups, or families, and I will come here again when I visit...
Read moreEl Oasis was that indeed, an oasis in the town of Boquete.|Now that I’m paying for a my own room, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the size, decor, extras such as fridge, tv, microwave, cutlery and dinnerware, safe, large bathroom and even view from a balcony. |The bed was exceptionally comfortable and plenty of layers of bedding to suit your sleeping temperature.|Breakfast is optional and you need to order the night before, ideally a group of people rather than just one. |The balcony areas are spacious with chairs to sit on and enjoy the view over the river into town.
