Initially, I thought the service was a little too intense in terms of an eagerness which was borderline intrusive. HOWEVER! I then discovered that I was being attended by students who, as a part of the restaurant's social compromise, are allowed to assume roles within the restaurant under the supervision of regular staff.

I loved that asking about vegan options didn't result in me being offered a salad but that, instead I was given a few options for dishes on the menu that could be made vegan. The meal (vegan maki roll) arrived quickly and it was delicious.

This restaurant was delicious! We ordered the shrimp dumpling to start us off and that mustard sauce... wow! We placed another order for pork dumplings just to see how good those were as well! I've been to Japanese restaurants in NYC and this one easily rivals if not surpasses them in quality and taste of food! Our entrees of sushi and a Neptune Special were also just as good! In my opinion, one of the best sushi places in terms of quality-price ratio. Been there and the place is ok. Cozy I always order by delivery. They have an interesting promo (3x2 rolls) where I go for two Philadelphia rolls and one hotaro (plátano on the outside, and salmon, Philadelphia, avocado etc on the inside).
