⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nación Sushi is easily one of my favorite spots to eat! The atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming, the prices are great, and the service is top-tier. The food? Absolutely delicious. I started with the shrimp appetizer—super savory and perfectly cooked. My curry chicken poke bowl was flavorful and fresh, and my husband’s fried chicken rice was just as delicious. We also enjoyed the 2-for-$10 margaritas—generous portions and so tasty!

But what truly made our visit unforgettable was our server, Fred. He was beyond amazing—genuine, friendly, and incredibly attentive. He suggested drinks and food, gave us time to look over the menu, and when we were finally ready to order, he already knew what we wanted. When I asked how, he simply said, “I was paying attention to you guys.” That level of attention and care is rare and truly elevated our experience.

The staff is always attentive however this time there was an issue. My wife is allergic to shrimp and we never order anything with shrimp. We are regulars and a few of the staff members know of her allergy for shrimp. We asked the waitress for drinks and appetizers. There was this fried stick that came in chicken. So we pointed to the picture and clearly stated chicken. When we get out order, these were shrimp sticks. I understand mistakes happen but when the waitress is arguing with me I said shrimp when my wife cannot eat shrimp thats not a good look. But what made it worse was her talking to the staff and the cooks saying we said shrimp. I got up went over to the huddle and canceled the re-fire and requested the check. I would not like to let pass by how spectacular my visit to Nacion Sushi Coronado was today, from the moment I walked through the door I was greeted as if I were at home, my waiter today was Mr. Fredd, he was very attentive from the moment I walked through the door! He offered drinks to my friend and I, of course we took the 2 for 1 sangria promotions! They were amazing, for the main course, it was a chicken curry pokeball on Mr. Fredd's recommendation, it was totally delicious, congratulations to the chef!
